Otter-C6x™ PC/104-plus DSP CCA

The Otter-C6x™ is a compact, general-purpose digital signal processing board designed for demanding applications requiring serious data crunching power in a pocket size form factor. Unit comes with a choice of either the Texas Instruments TMS320C6201B 1600-MIPs fixed-point DSP or the TMS320C6701 oneGFLOPs floating-point DSP. The Otter-C6x™ conforms to the PC/104-plus specifications, revision 1.1, which means this unit can be stacked with other Otter-C6x™ boards or a variety of PC/104 and PC/104 Plus compatible interface boards.

EVM-Flash™ C6x EVM Daughter Board

The EVM-Flash™ board is a simple Flash memory interface that expands the capability of the Texas Instruments C6x DSP EVM board to support Flash memory. The C6x EVM does not have flash memory on board. The EVM-Flash™ board allows software developers to write flash programming algorithms, boot and application code. Additionally, the EVM-Flash™ board may be targeted for automatic boot operation, greatly enhancing standalone operation. Booting from the EVM-Flash™ is configured by setting the BOOTMODE[4..0] switches (SW2) on the EVM. The EVM-Flash™ board is mapped to the lower 3 Mbyte region of the EVMs CE1 memory space. The EVM-Flash™ board supports both 1 Mbyte (512K x 16) and 2 Mbyte (512K x 32) options.
